Iain Edwards, Tigrent Learning UK's Managing Director and VP-International, presented Make-A-Wish's Fundraising Director, Karen England, with a cheque for £52,290.00 tonight, relating to the 2010 fundraising total, in front of 250 Gala Dinner guests at The Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow.
According to Iain Edwards: "I am so proud to be presenting Make-A-Wish tonight with a cheque for £52,290.00, culminating four years of team, trainer and customer fundraising by Tigrent Learning UK. As an organisation that teaches and inspires its customers to realise a personal vision of success, our customers' results speak for themselves: from Secret Millionaires to NLA-lauded Landlords, our valued customer base continues to achieve greatness, whether portfolios comprise property, stock or business-based investments. Strategies taught to customers are 'market-resisting' and ones that allow flexibility, regardless of macro-economic conditions".
The Great Minds Conference 2011 that took place today hosted some of the Best of British Minds including Alastair Campbell: former Blair government advisor, writer, communicator and strategist; Miles Shipside: Commercial Director of the UK's number one property site and lettings portal, Rightmove.co.uk; Kevin Green, property mogul, international trainer, Make-A-Wish Ambassador and social entrepreneur, presenting the learnings of Robert T. According to Alastair Campbell: ..."I speak at a lot of conferences and very few have the energy and the buzz of last week's Great Minds 2011 Conference, hosted by Tigrent Learning UK. There were some exceptional minds on stage and in the audience. I was also pleased to be able to support Tigrent's ongoing commitment to Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK".
Karen England, Fundraising Director for Make-A-Wish, added to Iain Edwards's words: "I am delighted to be here this evening with so many of the Tigrent 'family'. The relationship between Make-A-Wish and Tigrent Learning UK, one that has evolved over the last four years, fuses the greater good with great friends. I have seen, with very open eyes, how investing in yourself through training has changed the lives of so many people who have come through Tigrent training. There is a direct synergy between the 'Making a Difference' to customers' lives as delivered by Tigrent Learning UK and the way that we at Make-A-Wish change children and young people's lives, on a daily basis. The total amount raised by Tigrent Learning UK since 2007 has funded for over 75 wishes - from a child's wish to be a Fireman for the day to swimming with dolphins in Florida or being Spiderman. The joy of realising dreams is certainly the order of the day".
As the Conference drew to a close this afternoon, after four inspirational speeches, our first first speaker, Miles Shipside, Commercial Director at Rightmove.co.uk added: "I am delighted to have been asked to speak at Tigrent Learning UK's Great Minds 2011 Conference today, where I was inspired by the company's commitment to excellence and the audience's passion for property. We at Rightmove.co.uk are absolutely passionate about our own online property business and delivering over and above the competition. Today was indeed refreshing and educational for all, myself included".
Post-Conference, the room took advantage of excellent networking opportunities and two book signings by Alastair Campbell and Dr Rohan Weerasinghe, followed by a Best of Britain themed Gala Dinner, complementary musical entertainment and further fundraising for Make-A-Wish.

Tigrent Learning UK Gala Dinner and Conference 2010.
Celebrating optimism and saying goodbye to a 21st Century Great Depression
With Special Guests Teresa ‘What Glass Ceiling’ Graham CBE and Richard Reed, co-founder of innocent drinks.
On February 5th-6th 2010, Tigrent Learning UK Limited hosted its IVth respected annual Gala Dinner and Conference in London. Despite 2009 being a tough year for many of us, we raised in the region of £67,200 in aid of Tigrent Learning UK’s valued charitable partner, Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK - which grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
Saturday 6th February was also a successful day for networking amongst the delegates – all of whom who were brimming with ambition, entrepreneurship, investment intelligence and innovation, fuelled by two special keynote speakers and their respective pearls of wisdom:

Teresa ‘What Glass Ceiling’ Graham CBE has been advising SME’s for over 25 years. Her varied professional life has included working in the Government’s Enterprise and Deregulation Unit reporting directly to Lord Young, the Secretary of State for Employment and then Trade and Industry, as well as in many other public and private sector advisory and mentorship roles.
Teresa shared with the audience a humorous and insightful view of her life over the years, together with advice and expertise relating to growing successful small to medium enterprises. Other topics covered included entrepreneurship and governmental support, networking, women in business, philanthropy through Teresa’s work with The Sustainability Institute in South Africa and relevant life anecdotes.

Richard Reed, co-founder of innocent drinks, entertained us with his life story of how he progressed from being an enterprising eight year-old window cleaner to co-founder of the UK’s number one smoothie brand, selling over two million innocent drinks in over 11,000 outlets in the UK and Europe each week. The innocent story proves that with sound contacts, a fantastic team, positivity, a great brand and lateral thinking, it is possible to build and grow a profitable company from scratch, in spite of any odds.

The Vitality Show
The Women in Wealth team had a fantastic four days at the Vitality Show. The Millionaire Mindset Massage was a hit and our masseuse was fully booked every day. Thousands of women visited the show and we were overwhelmed by the amount of women who told us that they were looking for an alternative way of generating an income. Thanks to all you ladies who visited us at the stand to find out more information and to talk to our inspirational team of investors and trainers. To those who were lucky enough to receive a massage and a free CD we hope you enjoyed your time at the show as much as we did. We hope to see you all again soon.
Millionaires Gala Dinner and Conference 2009
with Special Guests James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne from TVs Dragons' Den
The Tigrent Learning Millionaires Gala Dinner and conference was a huge success, raising thousands of pounds for the
Make-A-Wish Foundation®. The audience were captivated by an inspiring speech by special guest speaker James Caan. Duncan Bannatyne also joined us during the weekend and we are proud to be able to boast that we had the Mr & Mr of Dragons' Den in our room.

Entrepreneur, venture capitalist and property investor James Caan has made millions from investing in start-up businesses. He also set up the Alexander Mann Group, an HR outsourcing company that had a turnover of £130million.
Like other successful Entrepreneurs he is a strong believer in observing how the masses behave and then doing the opposite. We have cycles where prices go up and we have periods where prices go down. Clearly we are experiencing an environment where prices are coming down, so in his view now is the time to investing, not when prices have shot straight back up again, which inevitably at some stage, they will do.
If you missed out on your chance to:
- Hear about all the positive investor movements that are now taking place in the property, business and financial markets.
- Network with some of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs.
- Soak up the positivity of this unique occasion - meet new contacts, learn of new opportunities, develop new strategies and kick start your best year ever.

The London Marathon
Women in Wealth trainer Bindar Dosanjh runs in the 2009 Flora London Marathon in the name of Wish Granting for
Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK.
Women in Wealth trainer, Bindar Dosanjh, ran in The Flora London Marathon for the first time this year, hoping to raise £2,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK, the valued charitable partner of Women in Wealth and Tigrent Learning.
Bindar, 43, commented on her run: “It was the most amazing day and three generations of my family were there cheering me on throughout. I was a little worried before the race as I had made up an estimated running time that was pretty much up there with the professionals – the Tigrent Learning family always thinks positively so I set myself a challenge, as always.
“I was worried about hitting ‘the wall’ that everyone talks about that got the better of me at around mile 23. With the encouragement, love and support of my family I picked up pace for the last three miles. My time of five hours and 19 minutes was OK considering I am not a runner – I only run when I am late for my court hearings! I loved this experience, one of the best of my life and I am so proud to be supporting Make-A-Wish in the UK!” Bindar added.

Bindar Dosanjh is a Tigrent Learning customer, professional property investor, law firm director, philanthropist and valued Women in Wealth course trainer. Bindar is hoping to raise £2,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK from this year’s Flora London Marathon.
